Keap is a client management software that helps track and communicate with leads and contacts through a database, email marketing, SMS marketing, client scheduling, automation, and more.  Keap organizes all your activity and communication in one interface making it easier for your whole team to have access to up-to-date information.  

There is a large learning curve as you’re first introduced to Keap’s interface and it can be very confusing to initially build out your dashboards.  You’ll also want access to other integrations that will maximize your marketing efforts such as advanced form builders and live chatbots.

HOW MUCH DOES KEAP COST?

Pricing: 5/10

Keap’s pricing is rather steep.  Their upfront monthly cost only includes one user plus and to add more login credentials it’s an additional $30 fee per user.  All 3 plans only include 500 contacts and there is another $30 fee per 1000 contacts if you need to add more.  For a high cost like Keap’s, you’ll want to be sure to take advantage of their 14-day free trial to ensure that their platform is the one for your business before you commit.

IS KEAP EASY TO USE?

ACCESSIBILITY: 6.5/10

Building out the backend of the software is not easy and many features, such as the CRM field and email builder, have limited customization.  Keap offers an impressive amount of features and automation capabilities which can undoubtedly be very beneficial to your sales and marketing efforts, however if you don’t know how to properly use them it’s a waste and overwhelming.  Keap does offer a service for a premium in which a Keap team member will collaborate with you to set up your account to best suit your needs, but this is another added cost. 

CAN I USE KEAP ON MY MOBILE DEVICE?

MOBILITY: 6/10

Keap’s mobile application is compatible with on both iOS and Android devices.  Keap’s mobile app does not offer the complete functionality of the web version including limited views of contacts and smart forms.  Additionally, there are in-app purchases ranging from $9.99 to $19.99.

WILL KEAP HELP ME SAVE TIME?

AUTOMATION: 7/10

With smart forms, campaign builder automation, and pipeline automation Keap’s automation capabilities are probably the strongest aspect of the software.  However, a lot of the automation features are only available in the premium packages.  Ultimately, Keap will save you time, if you’re willing to pay the price.
